Nikola Dicke draws with light and colour. So intense and powerful that it could never be realised with wall paint. This is how, for example, the picture story of the bosses of the arms industry proudly presenting their missiles – Sölle used the photo in her book ‘In the House of the Man-Eater’ – and then being ‘painted away’ with brightly coloured blobs of paint by a woman – we imagine Dorothee Sölle, of course.
At the Dorothee Sölle House, visitors were able to follow the creation of the drawings on the façade and participate in the artistic process, contribute their associations and express thoughts on current political events or on Dorothee Sölle herself, which were then incorporated into the artwork.
